Fun, Fearless Life.

With over 18 million monthly readers, Cosmopolitan Magazine is the holy grail for bold women around the globe. In 2014, the Cosmo team set out to New York for the Fun, Fearless Life Weekend, a tour encouraging women to live courageously and kick some ass along the way. When Cosmo, along with William Morris Entertainment, approached BLKBOX to design the tour’s site, we knew our strategy needed to reflect the cheeky, yet professional feel that is Cosmopolitan Magazine.

We faced this project, well, fearlessly. First, we developed the digital site with content presented cleanly for a straightforward user experience, while responsive navigation made the site readily available to all devices.

When it came to design, we incorporated pops of color with bold typography, while keeping up with the classic Cosmopolitan feel. By creating digital banners, e-mail marketing templates and a live social feed, we directly connected the magazine to its 20 million online readers.

A Few Facts

Launch of the tour’s site created a huge buzz across all Cosmo social platforms, enhanced their partnerships with Maybelline and Express, and mega-guests such as Sophia Ambruso and Kelly Osborne. By the way, you couldn’t get in. Every show was sold out. And everyone won.
