We were tasked with creating an event-based employment marketing strategy for Murphy USA. Building the employment experience from the ground up, our first task was to brand an event specifically tailored to technologists.
Pairing handmade craft cocktails, ambient music mixes, and a low-key conversational atmosphere, we created a networking event that felt casual and fun. Originally, we expected 50 people to attend this intimate event. In the end, over 150 people showed up.
After the original success of Tech x Craft, we were asked to expand our event-based strategy to other areas of the business, creating an overarching employment brand that could be hosted by recruiters out in the field to the folks back at the corporate offices. We took care of everything, from branding to swag to programming. The first event, held in Nashville, was a complete success.
